Avantos.ai is building an AI notetaker and task management tool for financial advisors. Role is Senior Software Engineer on the AI team, based in St. Louis or NYC (startup headquartered in NYC); quarterly travel to the office expected if not in NYC. Tech stack includes React frontend, Postgres DB, APIs in Go and Elysia/Node, and infrastructure on AWS with Terraform. Interview process includes an async coding challenge, multiple coding interviews, a system design interview, and a chat with a product manager.
