ZAIS Group LLC (“ZAIS”) is an award-winning asset management firm based in Holmdel, New Jersey with over two decades of experience investing in structured credit markets. ZAIS manages assets across corporate and mortgage related structured credit strategies with a team of over 50 professionals across portfolio management, security selection and execution, risk management, technology, finance, legal, operations and compliance. The investment team at ZAIS is led by Christian Zugel (Chief Investment Officer), who founded ZAIS in 1997. ZAIS offers investors the option of investing in a variety of fund offerings while also frequently partnering with larger institutional investors to create customized managed accounts tailored to their investment parameters and risk preferences. The Zais technology team is primarily responsible for the ingestion, management, and transformation of data from internal and external sources. This data is then used for modeling, analytics, and internal web-applications used by other ZAIS teams.
