Looking for a Staff/Principal Engineer to help us build a world-class distributed open-source query optimizer. You'd help lead the initiative of a complete rewrite of our query optimizer. We started on Cascades, but have paused and are looking for this engineer to help us set the future direction while we work on cardinality estimation and costing. You'd partner with and report directly to the Director of Query (O).
