Viam is an open source robotics and AI developer platform (founded by a former MongoDB co-founder/CTO). Company ~100 people (~70 engineers) with backend-focused teams (Core Services, Infrastructure, Motion Planning, Platform/Server). Role is NYC-based hybrid (3 days onsite) with opportunity to shape core architecture at an early but scaling company. Tech stack includes Golang, MongoDB, Linux, and GCP.
