Responsibilities
- Assist with the management of the risk exposure of the company from its core business
- Ensure the risk exposure yields a profit while achieving targeted gross income and market share
- Manage relationships with third party producers
- Achieve customer excellence
Requirements
- Three (3) - Five (5) years’ experience working in the Insurance industry
- Minimum 2 years underwriting experience
- Minimum of five (5) CXC/GCE ‘O’ Level passes inclusive of Mathematics & English Language
- Minimum of three (3) CAPE or A Level passes
- Completed Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Certificate Level OR equivalent qualification (will be an asset)
- Completed or pursuing BSc. or higher qualification in Insurance & Risk Management, Business Management, or any other related course of study (will be an asset)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs - Word & Excel
- Any equivalent combination of education & experience
