PrairieLearn is an open-source assessment platform used by universities across the US. Small, profitable, early-stage (bootstrapped) company seeking an early-stage hire to work across the stack with meaningful ownership. Tech stack includes Node.js/TypeScript backend, Postgres, AWS, React; also developing AI tooling (LLM agents and vision-language models). Role is full-time, remote within the US only. Not able to sponsor visas.
