Fold

Fold is a publicly listed bitcoin financial services company building tools to earn, buy, sell, and live on Bitcoin. Looking for a Senior Back End Engineer to build the financial infrastructure behind products, including payment processing, ledger systems, card transaction flows, and event-driven pipelines. Requirements include 5+ years software engineering experience; strong Java (or Kotlin/Scala/C#); production microservices and distributed systems experience; familiarity with messaging/event streaming (Kafka, Pulsar); solid relational database and data modeling skills. Nice-to-haves include fintech, payments, ledger/accounting domains; event-driven architectures, CQRS, event sourcing; and Micronaut/Quarkus or similar modern Java frameworks. US residency required (regulatory requirement).
