Description

The Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth, efficient day-to-day functioning of the organization by providing comprehensive administrative and operational support while coordinating key human resources functions. This is a part-time temporary position (remote). Candidates must be able to commit to 3 days per week. Responsibilities include: Administrative & Operations Support (draft/review written materials, coordinate meetings, maintain internal records and document management, triage and route communications, oversee vendor relationships/subscriptions, maintain financial/operational documentation, coordinate travel and expenses, support special projects); Human Resources Coordination (support recruitment/hiring/onboarding logistics, maintain personnel/HR files, assist with employee benefits administration, draft/manage contractor and vendor agreements, support policies/procedures, assist with annual performance review process). Required qualifications include administrative/operations/project coordination experience, strong written/verbal communication, organizational/time management/multitasking, proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace/Microsoft Office), and ability to handle confidential information. Preferred: experience with nonprofit/media/mission-driven teams and familiarity with HR/payroll platforms such as Rippling.
