Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicle to customer sites and deliver documents and packages according to established procedures, in all weather conditions
- Pick up, handle, and deliver time sensitive documents and packages safely and punctually considering traffic patterns, alternative routes, traffic regulations, and driving conditions
- Deliver all received delivery material to the correct consignee
- Collect customer payments (cash, cheque, debit/credit card) for COD service type and submit delivered invoices and collected payments to Finance daily
- Confirm deliveries and collections with dispatch by radio
- Operate a scanner to record shipping and package information
- Maintain good work habits including reporting to work on time and adhering to standard work and safety procedures
- Report suspected security breaches or unusual happenings to Lead Courier immediately
- Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Requirements
- English verbal and written proficiency
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Self-starter, motivated and organized
- Ability to work under pressure
- Valid General Driver’s License - 3000 kg or above and older than 3 years
- Clean police record
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Map reading and GPS skills
- Knowledge of delivery area preferred
- Previous professional driving experience, preferably in a delivery role

Job Summary: Following standard company procedures and safety requirements, picks up and delivers time sensitive materials in a timely and efficient manner.
