At FusionAuth, our mission is to make authentication and authorization simple and secure for every developer building web and mobile applications. The company offers a unique deployment model (self-host on-prem or in your cloud or run in our cloud), an API-first approach, a mature product (codebase nine+ years), and a full featured free version that aids the sales cycle. The CTO is the founder and still writes code. FusionAuth recently acquired a fine-grained authorization company and will be building in that area as well. Technologies and standards used include modern Java, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, MySQL, OAuth, SAML, and OIDC.
