Akselos

Akselos is a venture-backed SaaS company (MIT spin-off) which provides advanced simulation technology to enable Digital Twins of critical machinery and infrastructure in a wide range of industries (offshore wind, aerospace, automotive, heavy machinery, etc.). We have a team of 65 people, with several offices in the US, Europe and Southeast Asia. We’re looking for looking to fill both back-end and front-end development roles. Backend: We’re looking for a back-end/infrastructure engineer to lead our cloud development, and ensure a reliable and scalable infrastructure for our customers to run advanced engineering simulations. Software development is primarily in Python, and also requires managing cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Docker). Front-end: A developer to join our development team to enhance our engineering software platform for engineering simulation. The software we develop enables 3D model creation and simulation pre- and post-processing, along with interfaces to a scalable cloud-based architecture for high-performance computational simulations. Software development is primarily in Python (using the Python interface to Qt for GUI development) as well as React for browser-based development.
