Chroma is an open-source database designed for AI. The team (~17 engineers) works in Rust, Python, TypeScript, and Go. Hiring across Database Storage, Distributed Systems, Product Engineering, Platform, and Product Design. Recent work includes launching a new search API with hybrid search and sparse vectors and a new sync API for ingesting, chunking, and embedding data from sources (currently supports GitHub repos).
