Role requires proficiency in DevOps & cloud competencies (CI/CD pipeline design, automation and optimization; containerization and orchestration such as Docker, Kubernetes, ECS; cloud infrastructure—AWS preferred—compute, networking, IAM, storage; infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform, CDK, Pulumi). Observability & reliability experience required (monitoring, alerting, dashboarding with Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch, Prometheus; logging architectures; distributed tracing; incident response, root cause analysis, performance troubleshooting). Familiarity with engineering workflows (Git workflows, PR processes, testing strategies, deployment safety practices), API-driven systems, backend performance tuning, and data integrity patterns.
