Founding Engineer role joining co-founders (Neil, CEO and Jeff, CTO) as the first employee. Own systems and architecture with end-to-end ownership across the stack: database, geostatistical backend services, and 3D client-side rendering. Work rooted in agentic systems; understanding internals of tools like Claude Code and orchestrating agents for complex discrete tasks is important. Requirements include fluency in TypeScript and Python, framework/tooling agnostic; experience with systems supporting the codebase (project management, CI/CD, monitoring, etc.); willingness to learn mining domain knowledge; and eligibility to work in Canada without visa requirement. Open to a yearly month abroad with co-founders.
