Saildrone

Saildrone is the world's leading collector of ocean-related in situ data via uncrewed vehicles, working with navies, governments, agencies, foundations, universities, and private companies to provide ocean insights. They operate autonomous, long-endurance sailboats for tasks like hurricane data collection, ocean floor mapping, CO2 data collection, and biomass counting. They are hiring for multiple positions across the organization, including software roles on Perception, Platform, Frontend, and Vehicle teams (stacks vary by team) and roles in production/manufacturing and technical operations. Preferred software backgrounds include C++, Python, and/or JavaScript (Node, TypeScript, React). All software positions are hybrid roles based out of Alameda, CA.
