Portrait Analytics is creating the most transformative product for financial research since the launch of the Bloomberg terminal in 1981. Mission: Building an AI-powered research assistant to 10x the speed at which analysts discover and research companies. Team: Co-founders include a former principal from Baupost, one of the world's largest hedge funds run by famed value investor Seth Klarman, and a full stack engineer who owned search at a YC-backed unicorn. Traction: Paid LOIs signed with six of the best hedge funds in the world, a number of which are also investors in Portrait. Funding: Just closed $2.9m in our first first venture round.
