We are seeking a talented and versatile British English Voice Actor Specialist to support AI and machine learning projects by delivering high-quality voice recordings across various scripts, tones, and speaking styles. Responsibilities include recording voice scripts with clear pronunciation and natural delivery, performing a variety of speaking styles/emotions/character voices, following recording guidelines and pronunciation standards, delivering high-quality audio with minimal background noise and technical issues, reviewing recordings for accuracy and completeness, meeting deadlines and recording targets, and communicating any script ambiguities or technical issues. Requirements: native or near-native British English, excellent vocal clarity and pronunciation, ability to adapt tone/pace/emotion/speaking style, strong script interpretation, reliable internet and a quiet recording environment, basic computer skills and ability to use online recording platforms, and ability to work independently with detailed instructions. Nice to have: previous voice acting/voice-over/podcasting/broadcasting experience; experience recording for AI/speech recognition/audiobook/gaming/media; familiarity with audio recording software and editing tools; access to professional recording equipment including a quality microphone and sound-treated space.
