Roles

Secops Engineering Manager Security Architect

Description

The SecOps team is responsible for protecting customers’ infrastructure. It builds systems that give us insights into Cloud environments, external network attack surface, platforms (e.g., Kubernetes), and the deployment systems that connect these to the rest of our clients’ development lifecycles. It’s a combination of software engineering, provisioning, orchestration, automation, and analytics. The Engineering Manager will work on managing the day to day of delivery for the SecOps team as well as work on the long-term vision to expand the team’s capabilities. In addition to delivery-focused security engineers, this team has embedded software engineers dedicated to improving the processes and tools. I know the title can be intimidating, but “security architect” but we take it’s a very broad definition here; “security generalist” might be a better summary. We get to work with the all the “weird” questions from our clients, the things that fall between or cut across our more established practice areas. 100% remote (US-ish time zones though), tons of autonomy and flexibility to define the role in a way that fits you. And our clients are really cool, you’ll get to see some neat things.
