Firefighter responsible for responding to aircraft and structural fire emergencies, medical emergencies, hazardous material incidents, and other emergencies within airport premises. Ensures safety and security of passengers, crew, and airport personnel by performing firefighting, rescue and emergency medical services. Responsibilities include emergency response; fire suppression using water/foam/dry chemicals and other agents; search and rescue in smoke-filled/hazardous environments; first aid and BLS; transporting patients; operational readiness through inspections/maintenance of firefighting vehicles, extinguishers and PPE; maintaining inventory; participating in emergency simulations, ICAO-mandated training, and fire drills; maintaining incident reports, training records, and shift logs; compliance with regulations and SOPs; hazard identification during patrols; preparation of incident/equipment documentation; and coordination with airport operations/medical services/external agencies including Duty Manager and ATC during emergencies and drills. Qualifications: Diploma in Fire Fighting Technology (or equivalent) and certification from an accredited firefighting academy required.
