Description
DHIS2 is a free and open source global public good in use at the national level in more than 70 mostly low- and middle-income countries - making it the largest health information system in the world. It is a general-purpose data collection and analytics platform used to manage routine health service delivery as well as interventions targeting COVID-19, Malaria, HIV/Aids, Tuberculosis, vaccination, maternal and child health, and more. DHIS2 is developed by the Health Information Systems Program (HISP) at the University of Oslo (UiO) in Norway with support from norad.no, PEPFAR, the Global Fund, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, CDC, the Global Vaccine Alliance, UNICEF, WHO, and others. The core DHIS2 development team is remote-first with a preference for CET and neighboring timezones. We also have onsite positions available in Oslo, Norway. We build an on-premise server product, more than 30 bundled web applications, and a suite of platform tools for application developers working in local contexts. We are currently hiring for the following positions: - Frontend Software Engineer (React) - Backend Software Engineer (Java/Spring) - Developer Advocate - DevOps Engineer - Security Engineer. You may apply on Stack Overflow for certain positions or send an email to careers@ or austin@ with “HackerNews” and the position you’re interested in as the subject (domain dhis2.org). We also welcome open-source contributions big and small!
