Responsibilities include developing and maintaining software applications, collaborating with team members and clients, executing tasks in an Agile environment, communicating progress/challenges, providing customer support when needed, participating in code reviews, and continuous improvement. Required qualifications include 3–5+ years of professional production software development, designing/building scalable applications with limited supervision, strong communication skills, Agile experience, problem-solving, ability to work independently and take feedback, and demonstrated remote work and time management. Preferred experience includes Ryan White/Healthy Start programs, public health initiatives, healthcare data management systems, HL7/FHIR integrations, security assessment documentation/remediation, UI tailoring, translating reporting requirements into calculations, AWS EC2/server management, and secure file transfer applications. Technical stack includes JavaScript/AJAX, Go (HTTP service), VB.NET/C#, SQL Server, OAuth2 libraries, Git/Gitflow and CI/CD, regression testing, OWASP/NIST security practices, and tools such as Jira/HappyFox/Slack.
