Return is hiring a full-time backend software engineer (Go/Golang) to further develop its battery virtualization platform for industrial-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems. The company operates in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and Spain and has offices in Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Hamburg, Munich, Madrid, and Stuttgart. The technical team is small (~13 members). The role focuses on platform development, scaling existing systems, and working with a tech stack that emphasizes frequent deployments, automated and manual testing, and code reviews. Remote work is welcome for EU residents. The hiring process includes an initial call to discuss fit and finances, technical interviews, and a paid visit to Amsterdam.
