Tempo Automation

Tempo Automation operates a factory in San Francisco (SoMa) producing printed circuit boards very quickly. The company serves customers in industries such as rockets, drones, and medical devices. The software team is small (~9 engineers) and new hires will have significant impact. They seek strong generalists (Python experience highly preferred) who take initiative and sometimes act as part-time PMs. Example projects include providing real-time automated manufacturing feedback (linting for hardware), optimizing factory processes with machine learning and scheduling algorithms, encoding 3D structure of order components for assembly robots, and optimizing automated optical inspection.
