Description

Mulligan Post, Inc - On-site near Millbrae BART/CalTrain Station in Burlingame. Software hacker seeking hardware hacker to make custom robots for a Magic: The Gathering automated storage and retrieval system to power an online e-commerce store (CardKingdom/TCGPlayer competitor). Target scale: >100k SKUs, ~1M items in inventory, tens of thousands of picks per day. Looking for a mechanical/electrical/hardware generalist to complement software expertise: integrate off-the-shelf parts into custom automation, iterate quickly, and drive projects to completion. Uses OnShape (license provided) for collaboration and document management. Common components include FUYU linear rails, Clearpath motors, pneumatics, custom parts via Send Cut Send/Xometry, and 8020 frames. Pros: small team, minimal overhead, clear guidance, flexible-ish schedule (core hours 9-5 in office). Primarily seeking a contractor now; open to hiring full-time with equity for the right person.
