Since we began in 2011 as a remote-first, fully distributed company, we've created industry-leading software for reading research papers across thousands of peer-reviewed, academic journals. Third Iron software is used by researchers from over 1,200 libraries, which are part of universities, hospitals, corporations, and government agencies located across 35 countries. We’re looking for a developer interested in doing work throughout our entire stack, with a little more focus on the backend. We focus on providing a great user experience for our customers, which includes the gamut of researchers: scientists, medical professionals, arts and humanities researchers, philosophers, social scientists, physicists, and any other area where research is being conducted.
