Hi, my name is Jeff (YC W06!), and I lead the visualization and cloud software teams at 10x Genomics. We make instruments and software that allow scientists to study biology at the single-cell level. Our user-facing applications, from visualization tools to onboard instrument UIs, use React/Typescript/deck.gl frontends and predominantly Golang backends, with some Rust for accelerated algorithms.
