Description

Goblins is an education tech startup building AI-driven tools that provide individualized feedback to students working on math problems. The product supports drawing math on any device, analyzes student work to identify misunderstandings, and delivers real-time remediation. Launched to school districts in spring 2025, Goblins has a growing customer base and is scaling rapidly. Technical challenges include building adaptive knowledge graphs, extending handwriting recognition from digital canvases to real paper using Chromebook cameras, implementing real-time OCR on low-quality webcams, and creating interactive conversational math lessons.
