Description
Digital Communications Officer (Ref: 250118) Permanent Band 5. Healthcare Improvement Scotland communications role to support redevelopment and maintenance of the web estate (including corporate website). Create, format, structure, edit and publish user-focused web content using content management systems such as WordPress, Umbraco, Alterian Immediacy CMC and SharePoint. Train and support others to update web content. Provide specialist support for digital communications including website copy, high-quality video content, audio podcasts, email marketing, and digital graphics. Distribute digital content across channels such as YouTube, Vimeo and the website. Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to organise complex information into coherent website content. Identify website technical issues and work with external contractors to resolve issues and develop functionality. Suitable for someone experienced in a busy, varied multi-disciplinary communications environment with degree-level education in a relevant discipline or relevant specialist experience.
