Description

Posting 1: Small team of software engineers, computational biologists, clinicians, and geneticists building tools and methods for interpreting very large genomic datasets. Role involves developing a React component library for visualizing genomic data. Looking for people with demonstrated experience in web tech, an eye for design, and excitement to learn; experience building performant React web applications preferred. Applicants should link to an online portfolio/GitHub; bonus for nontrivial data visualization apps. Technologies used include React, Redux, D3, SVG, Python, GraphQL, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform. Role offers domain-specific training at a world-class research institute, supportive of candidates transitioning to graduate school; work is 100% open source and widely used in the genetics/genomics community.
