Bloomberg is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for a hybrid role in NYC to modernize and unify Bloomberg's authentication landscape. The team builds infrastructure for identity verification and authentication, creating fast, resilient, highly available systems for large volumes of authentication traffic. Responsibilities include leading design and development of next-generation authentication and MFA systems, creating scalable end-to-end identity solutions across web, API, and proprietary technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional partners. Required experience includes architecture of large-scale authentication systems and working with OpenID Providers, Authorization Servers, and Identity Providers.
