Polka Dot Sky builds products that service local and state government's ability to respond to municipal services but also has been active in pandemic response; mitigate risks of the pandemic, get off paper and more readily connect with their citizens primarily located in the US East Coast. We love Elixir and are on the lookout for passionate Elixir developers or other good developers looking to learn Elixir. You’ll be creating and improving a family of applications built using the Phoenix framework, Exq, Elasticsearch, Postgres and Redis. Bonus if you have understanding of SQL databases, Ember.js, React Native, AWS, and the HashiCorp products (Terraform, Nomad, Vault). Even when we're fighting fires we appreciate calm heads and constructive attitudes. We do our best work when we feel supported and hope you will too. We are fully remote (US only) with core hours between 1pm-5pm EST, however, authorization to work in the US is required.
