Youth Inc. is a venture-backed commerce and media company focused on the youth and high school sports market. Seeking a Head of Engineering — the most senior technical role reporting to the CEO — to own architecture, execution, and evolution of a proprietary commerce platform while building and leading a small, high-impact engineering team. Role requires hands-on coding and business involvement, experience at a growth-stage company, strong communication with non-technical stakeholders, full-stack technical depth, and 8+ years of engineering experience with meaningful time leading teams. E-commerce or marketplace experience is a plus. Elixir or Phoenix experience is a plus but not required. Location preferred: Chicago, Nashville, or Boston; open to remote for the right candidate.
