Kernel Intelligence is building the data backbone for commercial real estate by converting CRE documents into structured data using ML and distributed systems. The role is engineering-first with ownership of production systems. Responsibilities include designing and owning backend systems for AI-driven pipelines: async FastAPI services, SQLAlchemy 2.x models, event-driven ingestion workflows (Pulsar/Kafka), multi-tenant auth (OIDC/JWT), Kubernetes deployments, and full observability.
