Description
Research Assistant I (Part-Time, Remote) in the Opendak Lab provides dedicated data analysis support for ongoing research projects. Fully remote role focused on computational and statistical work: processing and cleaning behavioral, electrophysiological, and imaging datasets; contributing to publications and reports; developing figures/graphs/visualizations for manuscripts, presentations, and grants; supporting preparation of publication, grant reports, and conference presentations; organizing and analyzing data in Microsoft Excel with well-structured spreadsheets and analysis files; overseeing undergraduate data analysts as needed; participating in remote lab meetings and check-ins; and enhancing professional growth through educational programs, workshops, and seminars. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field required (neuroscience, biology, psychology, computer science, biomedical engineering, mathematics, or statistics). Prior research experience involving data analysis strongly preferred; demonstrated Excel proficiency and coursework in statistics will be considered.
