BusinessVPN is building a next-generation secure network for SMBs. Hiring an Elixir engineer to work on the Phoenix web app and control plane API, and a Golang engineer to work on a custom VPN framework for server and cross-platform clients. Work includes cross-platform considerations, user management, SSO, payment API, end-to-end secrets/key management, device management, and application delivery. Requirements for Elixir: proficiency with Elixir, Phoenix, and Ecto; experience running an Elixir application in production; solid HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills; experience with Distillery, Erlang/OTP concepts, and AWS is a plus. Requirements for Go: cross-platform Go development (macOS, Windows, Linux); familiarity with network protocol design, C10K problem, and Go garbage collector; secure systems design (cryptography, AWS KMS, Secrets Manager) is a nice-to-have; experience containerizing applications using Docker.
