Hi! We’re Embucket, and we’re on a mission to redefine data infrastructure. We’re looking for skilled Rust engineers (or C/C++/Go developers eager to switch) to help us build a cutting-edge lakehouse platform. A background in database development or related fields is a plus but not required. Embucket is creating a single-node, single-executable, zero-disk architecture lakehouse powered by Apache DataFusion and Apache Iceberg. Our platform is designed to make data engineering simpler, faster, and more accessible. Fully remote team (US/Europe timezones). Opportunity to work with modern technologies and solve hard problems in the data ecosystem. Proficient in Rust (or C/C++/Go and interested in transitioning to Rust). Passionate about data infrastructure, performance optimization, and clean architecture. Excited to work in a collaborative, remote-first environment.
