Base pay range $150,000 USD - $200,000 USD plus strong annual performance-based bonus plan. Description
The VP of Field Operations for the West Coast of the United States leads and optimizes practice operations across regions, ensuring sustainable growth and operational excellence. Responsibilities include developing quarterly practice visit plans, leading bi-weekly site visits, mentoring Regional Directors of Operations (RDOs), overseeing onboarding/off-boarding for associates, coordinating payroll issue resolution, conducting monthly operational reviews (MORs) and quarterly business reviews (QBRs), identifying operational inefficiencies, ensuring contracted hours and optimal scheduling, collaborating on strategic initiatives (doctor recruiting, marketing, transitions, procurement, technology, compliance, FP&A), ensuring policy/SOP compliance, focusing on associate doctor retention and mentorship onboarding, implementing best practices across PMS systems (scheduling, insurance verification, payment collections, end-of-day reconciliations), developing business cases for growth opportunities, understanding call center/telephone routing for immediate access to scheduling, communicating KPIs, and cascading change management communications. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of operations management experience in healthcare/dental support, with leadership and data/Excel skills, familiarity with HRIS/workflow tools (e.g., UKG, Smartsheet), and knowledge of call center routing systems (e.g., RingCentral).
