Description
DevOps Engineer at Alice. Build and evolve the platform and infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes; implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm); decompose platform changes for agentic development; maintain ADRs/documentation/rules/skills. Own CI/CD and release strategies (canary, blue/green, rollback) with spec-first development; handle platform lifecycle (deploys, metrics, alarms, SLOs) and quality guardrails (infra tests, linting, policy checks, security scans). Use agents for operations and incident investigation via MCPs (Datadog, logs, traces, GitHub); participate in on-call, improving runbooks and automations to reduce noise and MTTR. Ensure performance, availability and security. Technical leadership across squads, publishing and maintaining skills in an internal marketplace, improving developer experience (platform tooling, ephemeral environments, self-service deploys, observability) and mentoring. Coordinate with Software Engineers, Designers and Product Managers to solve user/team needs and decide where agentic automation fits vs human judgement in critical production flows. Engineering team is fully remote; optionally office in Avenida Rebouças, 3535. Strong requirements include AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform/Helm, CI/CD pipelines and release strategies, distributed systems, observability (Datadog/Prometheus/logs/traces, SLIs/SLOs), security/privacy best practices, coding (Python/Go/Bash), technical project leadership, and strong agentic development practices (agent usage, spec-driven development, context engineering, failure literacy, guardrails/autonomy, evals).
