Podaris is re-inventing how the world plans cities. They are developing a platform for urban infrastructure planning combining elements of BIM and GIS, focused on agile, real-time collaboration. They are looking for a full-stack software engineer to join a small enthusiastic team, primarily focusing on mathematical problems such as computational geometry, parametric constraint solvers, and network routing optimisation, while also being a generalist able to work in other areas of the application. Technology-wise, Podaris is built on JavaScript/ES6, Meteor.js, OpenStreetMap, and OpenLayers. Expertise with JavaScript and experience building large single-page apps is important; experience with Java-based OSM routers or similar tooling is a strong plus. The company is based in London, UK, but open to remote workers from anywhere in the world.
