Happy Returns

Happy Returns is solving one of e-commerce’s biggest pain points: returns. They combine proprietary returns software with reverse logistics, including box-free consolidated returns, to improve returns for shoppers, retailers, and the planet. This role is remote for candidates in the United States. Hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a team of 6–8 engineers: manage day-to-day execution, coach and mentor engineers, improve productivity and agile processes, partner closely with Product, participate in architecture and technical design reviews, and help recruit and onboard new engineers. Requirements include 6+ years developing/testing web applications, 2+ years as an Engineering Manager, strong communication skills, experience coaching engineers toward high-quality maintainable well-tested code, and comfort collaborating with Product, DevOps, QA, and other stakeholders. Bonus experience with Go, Python, React, PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, e-commerce, logistics, or sustainability.
