Description
Security Engineering is a small but mighty team (we went from 2 people this time last year to 14 today) securing systems at very high scale. Platform Security works at protecting the platform we're building these high-scale systems on top of. Looking for all sorts of backgrounds to apply; Security folks of course, but also SRE and backend devs with some security feelings. Among the projects we'll be doing next year are: - mTLS for S2S auth - Expanding malware detection by leveraging VirusTotal and other platforms - Building WebAuthN requirements and other security controls for Discord the app (we're the only enterprise customer of Discord!) Can be in office in SF, fully remote, hybrid, whatever you feel. My team has people on 3/4 continental US timezones. Stack: Python, Rust, Elixir, Typescript, Google Cloud Platform, GKE, Kubernetes, and more
