Description
Stpkr Technologies is hiring for multiple roles to build the next generation of wearable devices. Work is in person near Noida Sector 18, walking distance from Sector 18 Metro Station. They prefer in-office work but are super flexible overall. They are open to interviewing candidates even if skillset/experience doesn’t fit the defined roles; candidates should email a suitable job title. They prefer current and recent undergraduates; if still in college, apply provided you can work as an intern in person. There is an AI policy across all roles: you should be able to do the work without AI, and much faster with it. Roles: - Android Systems Engineer (AOSP/BSP): Everything at the OS layer; comfortable in C/C++; experience rooting phones, flashing custom ROMs, breaking and fixing Linux; stack includes Android, Linux, C, C++, Java. GitHub with kernel-adjacent or LineageOS-type projects a plus. - Full-Stack Engineer (Apps + Backend + ML): Generalist shipping end-to-end; ability to build a crude-but-working facial recognition system (camera → model → DB → backend) using existing facial recognition models; bonus for weird/constrained hardware work or running ML on edge devices. Stack includes Android, Java, Python, TypeScript. - Hardware Engineer (Bring-up/Debug/Integration): Take EVT/DVT boards and make them work; comfortable with J-Link and IDE debugging, reading schematics and reference designs; KiCad/Altium/EasyEDA hobby work would make you ideal; PetaLinux experience or hunger to learn it. Filter: photo of a board you designed or debugged plus what went wrong. - Hardware Engineer (Power/RF/Wireless): Make power and RF paths behave on EVT/DVT boards; schematic capture, layout, soldering, scope/logic analyzer; given two unknowns, pick one and start measuring. Filter: sensor fusion work, noise behavior across protocols, and SPI debug chops. - Founder’s Office: Work closely with the founder and team for day-to-day and long-term affairs; efficient at administrative tasks and management; speed and learning ability prized. Hiring process: To apply, contact arnav@stpkr.in with subject line "HN - Human" and a brief intro. Attach any documents deemed useful. Include the role applied for at the top of the email if it matches the advertised roles; otherwise use the role that fits you best. Shortlisting will be online; interviews in person.
