Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to discuss the space that requires artwork, and communicate effectively throughout the consultation process
- Offer custom framing so the artwork fits the space
- Install or place artwork to achieve the client’s desired look, mood, or feel
- Be involved in art appraisal due to expertise
- Work with local, national and international galleries, local artists, and other reliable art sources to provide a broad range of art
- Commission custom artwork for clients or special occasions
- Work with a variety of budgets and spaces
- Maintain good relationships with artists, galleries, their managers, and proprietors
- Stay up to date with the newest trends in the art community
Requirements
- Masters in Arts Business
- 6-8 years experience
