We're a 4-person boutique consulting shop in Albany, NY building custom web apps for healthcare, legal, and education clients. Looking for a senior engineer to work alongside the founder on production systems for clients. Work involves a paid trial task → 3-month contract → conversion to long-term contractor. No middlemen, no platform markup. You should have shipped real Go in production, be comfortable across the stack, have opinions about migrations and RBAC, and avoid overengineering. English fluent enough to talk directly with clients.
