Description
Carma (YC W24) is an AI-native operating system for enterprise fleet operations. Fortune 500 construction, electrical, and disaster restoration fleets run thousands of commercial vehicles on their platform in production today. When a truck breaks down, gets recalled, or sits idle, our software detects it, builds the workflow, and drives it to resolution automatically. Ship a feature in the morning; a fleet manager in the field is using it within the hour. Technically interesting: real-world software with messy, adversarial data — telematics streams, OEM recall feeds, vendor invoices, DOT compliance — fused into workflows that AI agents execute. Incumbents ship on decade-old stacks. Carma raised a $5.5M seed from Y Combinator, Soma Capital, and the founders of Superhuman, and is driving toward a Series A. Onsite in SF six days a week, early-stage pace, high ownership and high expectations. Process is fast; strong candidates go from first conversation to offer in days, not months. Two founding roles, both heavy on ownership: 1) Founding Head of Engineering: hands-on technical leader; majority of time writing production code; owns architecture, standards, and technical direction.
