Hometap

Hiring a sr. back-end engineer for the end-of-the funnel team at Hometap. We're a Boston-based fintech startup working on making homeownership easier and more accessible. We are a Python (3.6+) shop for both eng and data science; our main piece is based on Django/DRF with heavy usage of Django templating, forms and tables for the back-office, as well as an API for the React-based end-user application. Everything is deployed to AWS (EB, VPC for security, R53, S3, Lambdas, CloudFront, SES — what you would expect.) Our DB stack in Postgres and MySQL (latter will be sunsetted soon). The team is very talented and extremely thorough and attentive with code style, architecture and supportability. We also have great unit test coverage (about 95%+, with the rest being mostly migrations and auxiliary code like Django admin).
