Role details

  • Develop, schedule, publish, and optimize content across all STNDRDS social media platforms
  • Manage STNDRDS social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging platforms
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media content calendar
  • Schedule, publish, and monitor daily content across all channels
  • Create compelling captions, headlines, and social copy consistent with the STNDRDS voice
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose editorial content into social-first formats
  • Collaborate with editorial and creative teams to develop social media assets supporting articles, interviews, events, and special projects
  • Assist in the creation of short-form video content including reels, stories, and promotional materials
  • Support launches of new issues, cover stories, partnerships, and branded initiatives
  • Coordinate social promotion for events, symposiums, podcasts, and community-building efforts
  • Partner with Seeking’s social media team to align messaging and coordinate campaigns
  • Collaborate with writers, photographers, designers, and external contributors to maximize content reach
  • Identify influencer, creator, and brand partnership opportunities
  • Track and report on social media performance, audience growth, engagement, and content effectiveness
  • Monitor trends, platform updates, and emerging opportunities within luxury, lifestyle, culture, and business sectors
  • Provide recommendations to improve audience engagement and brand visibility
  • Support audience development initiatives and community-building strategies
  • Monitor comments, direct messages, and audience interactions
  • Engage with readers, industry leaders, luxury brands, and strategic partners in a professional and timely manner
  • Help foster an engaged and thoughtful online community
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 2+ years of experience managing social media accounts for a media company, luxury brand, lifestyle publication, or related organization
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
  • Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Description

STNDRDS is seeking a creative, strategic, and highly organized Social Media Coordinator to lead day-to-day management of its social channels and help build STNDRDS into a recognized voice in the luxury lifestyle and cultural conversation. The role involves developing, scheduling, publishing, and optimizing content across all social media platforms; collaborating with editorial leadership, contributors, designers, and the Seeking social media team; supporting content and campaign creation including short-form video; tracking performance and engagement; and managing community interactions through comments and direct messages. Responsibilities include managing STNDRDS social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging platforms), maintaining a content calendar, creating social copy consistent with the brand voice, repurposing editorial content for social formats, coordinating social promotion for events and other initiatives, aligning campaigns with the Seeking social media team, maximizing content reach with cross-functional partners, monitoring trends and providing recommendations, tracking and reporting analytics and growth, and fostering an engaged online community by engaging readers, industry leaders, luxury brands, and partners professionally and timely. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of experience managing social media accounts for a media company/luxury brand/lifestyle publication/related organization, exceptional writing/editing/communication skills, strong understanding of social media platforms/trends/best practices, experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools, ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and comfort working independently in a remote environment. Preferred experience includes luxury/lifestyle/travel/fashion/hospitality/premium consumer brands, familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and CapCut, short-form video creation/editing experience, knowledge of SEO and digital publishing best practices, and experience supporting event promotion and brand partnerships.
