Aerofex is a rapidly-growing aerospace startup developing next-generation thrust vectoring and VTOL propulsion technology for manned and unmanned platforms. Seeking an experienced engineer to migrate an existing flight-control implementation from a flight-verified Simulink-like development environment into an ArduPilot-based production implementation. This is a 1-2 month contract position with potential for future full-time work. Primary task is to create a custom ArduPilot airframe configuration for a slightly nonstandard vehicle, focusing on actuator/output mixing, PWM output expansion, firmware integration, and hardware-level debugging on a Pixhawk-based flight controller.
