Role details
Responsibilities
- Design and produce front pages for a variety of print titles
- Use InDesign and Photoshop to create visually impactful layouts
- Apply a strong understanding of what makes a front page stand out on the newsstand
- Work collaboratively within the hub to meet production deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
- A strong eye for design, layout, typography and visual storytelling
- Experience in headline writing would be advantageous, but not essential
- Understanding of print front-page design and audience appeal
- Ability to work efficiently and manage priorities within a deadline-driven environment

We have an exciting opportunity within our print hub at Newsquest Media Group for someone experienced in producing engaging, high-quality front pages across a range of established print titles. This is a part-time role, working two days per week, focused on delivering visually strong front pages that reflect sound editorial judgement and a clear understanding of what appeals to print audiences.
