Description
We’re an urban planning consultancy building the CommunityScale Housing Forecast, tools and maps that help cities plan housing and growth. Small, focused team; real-world impact. You’ll work on: APIs & performance: Extend FastAPI endpoints (forecast overrides, analytics), tune queries/caching, containerize heavy jobs on Cloud Run. Data engineering: Ingest ACS/FRED/Zillow; refactor transforms to SQL/dbt; manage schema migrations; keep tilesets fresh. Geospatial UX: Improve PostGIS/GeoAlchemy2 pipelines and map rendering (e.g., overlapping township/municipality z-index issues).
